Years ago took my four year old to North Babylon office and it was very disappointed with them.After reading a similar review , I felt I had to post this. My child needed to have one cavity filled. They gave her nitrous oxide but were unable to get her to sit still to fill the cavity. They charged me for the nitrous and said they would try again another day. Came back another two times and both times charged for nitrous with no cavity filled. After the third try, they said they would have to IV sedate her- cost of at least $800.00 (or more if they needed to keep her under longer than 15 minutes). All this for a cavity in a baby tooth? I took my daughter to another dentist, That Broadway Smile. They were able to fill her cavity on the first visit, took 15 minutes and they did not even charge me for the nitrous oxide. How can a pediatric practice be so quick to recommend IV sedation for a child?
I never met a dentist office that my daughter would like to talk about but today was the day she came home after first visit I really appreciate that they're here. Great job guys from the front desk and to the back it was their Halloween Holiday even the Doctor was dressed up. My daughter is looking forward to your next visit.
Tried to get appointments 3 times. Got left on hold for over 5 minutes the first time second time left a message because apparently they were busy with other callers according to the automated message left another message 3.5 hours later only to find out the office is closed. The fact that I had to invest this much time getting an appointment is a huge turnoff. I would say they may want to get a handle on answering the phones.
They don't deserve any starts. The absolute WORST dentist in the world! Talk about trying to take advantage of young kids/ babies. They caused more damage to my babies teeth then she had to start with. Don't waste your time! They SUX and they need to close their doors! I hate this place. They are strictly trying to scam you and your insurance at the expense of your babies/ child's teeth.
